Ticket sales
Where can I purchase tickets and how can I collect them?
Tickets for our concerts can be purchased via our website menuhin.ch, as well as by post or by phone (+41 33 748 81 82).
Tickets with a print@home option can be printed at home. Alternatively, print@home tickets can also be presented digitally on your smartphone at the entrance.
Is there a box office where I can purchase tickets in person?
Yes, tickets for our concerts can be purchased directly at the tourist offices in Gstaad, Saanen and Schönried. Further information is available on our website menuhin.ch and from the ticket offices of Gstaad Saanenland Tourism (Tel. +41 33 748 81 82).
Can I still buy tickets on the spot at the evening box office?
We strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets at least a few days before the concert via our website menuhin.ch or at our sales office (tel. +41 33 748 81 82).
To avoid waiting times, the evening box office opens 1 to 1½ hours before the concert begins.
Can I pay by credit card at the box office?
Yes, for all concerts it is possible to purchase tickets at the box office, subject to availability. Credit card payments are accepted.
Can I present my print@home ticket digitally?
Yes, you can present your print@home ticket digitally, for example on your smartphone, at the entrance. Printing your ticket is not required.
Are there shipping fees?
For orders placed via our webshop (shop.menuhin.ch), a printing and shipping fee of CHF 3 per order applies for the postal delivery of tickets.
Unfortunately, I can no longer find my tickets. What should I do?
If you have lost your tickets, please contact our sales office by phone at +41 33 748 81 82 or write to us using these contact details.
Am I allowed to move if I see that another seat is available?
No, changing seats on your own initiative is prohibited.
Are the venues accessible without barriers?
All venues except for the Temple de Château-d'Œx are accessible to wheelchair users. Please ask directly at the Gstaad Saanenland Tourism office about all conditions and seats specially designed for wheelchair users (Tel. +41 33 748 81 82).
Return policy
Will I be refunded if an event must be cancelled?
In case an event must be cancelled, the ticket price will be refunded (minus expenses).
Can I return my ticket if I am unable to attend the concert?
The return or exchange of tickets is generally excluded.
In the event of illness, goodwill may be granted upon request; a medical certificate is required.
A cancellation fee of CHF 5 per ticket applies.
Is it possible that a cast or programme changes at short notice?
In rare cases, a cast or programme may have to be changed. We will always try to find an adequate replacement. Cast or programme changes cannot always be avoided and do not entitle the holder to return tickets already purchased.
Your concert visit (entrance and exit, intervals, evening programmes)
Is there an interval during the concerts?
Concerts held in churches are generally performed without an interval.
Concerts at the Festival Tent Gstaad usually include an interval.
Some programmes may require exceptions. Please refer to the information on the respective concert page. Programme details are subject to change.
Can I pay by credit card at the bar in the Gstaad Festival Tent?
Yes, credit card payments are accepted in the bar area of the Gstaad Festival Tent.
When does access to the venues open and what should I look out for?
Access to all venues begins 30 minutes before the start of the concerts.
Late entry cannot always be permitted. Unfortunately, the ticket price cannot be refunded in the event of late arrival.
Will I be given a programme on the night of the concert?
Yes, an evening programme with all the information about the concerts is available at every event for free.
Alternatively, you can browse the programme electronically on our website menuhin.ch.
Do I have to register to attend the free concerts of the Menuhin Festival Academy?
Yes, all public concerts of the Menuhin Festival Academy (final concerts and Academy Live concerts) can be booked free of charge via the ticket office. We kindly ask you to book your ticket well in advance.
May I bring an animal to the concert?
Out of consideration for other guests, animals are unfortunately not permitted at the concerts.
Assistance animals with valid identification are exempt.
